Food and Exercise.....?

Should it not maybe be 'EXORCISE'?
The one doesn't seem to go with the other, food and exercise......Everyone likes to eat then relax...don't they?
Why spend money, time buying and preparing good stuff if you're then going to try and 'sweat it all off'?
I'm told it is ok to eat cheesecakes/brownies at all time of the day (and probably night) but if you do then physical effort may be needed afterwards.

http://www.vintagekitchennotes.com/2014/02/cheesecake-brownies.html

Maybe not immediately after eating it, but don't leave too much time, it gets harder and harder.......
Really it is easier in summer because much more green salad is eaten, which fills the stomach with few calories, tomatoes and other salad items have more taste, but the dressings are still there. Drinks are also a source of extreme calories, even wine, but try to avoid certain 'non-alcoholic' drinkies otherwise serious things can happen.........
When everything is arranged, just set up the things together with the equipment necessary to 'exercise', and if you are going to try
having a picnic or eating outdoors? Try this, if you need to -
Keep flies AWAY from outdoor parties! Use lavender oil on a sponge & put it inside a can with a lid 24hrs prior the party. Open can & enjoy your food w/out flies flying all over your food. You could make a few and spread them along your food display.

messin' around.......

Some more things that aren't important!
I understand, from the News on French TV, that the Venise authorities are getting worried.  They haven't got enough (in fact hardly any) new gondoliers, to replace the ones that are getting old!
Apparantly the City has offered a one month PAID course to become an official gondolierri.
Since this is all part of the European set-up, the offer must be open to all!
How about it, you people out there?
At worst you get a months paid holiday in Venise.
I'd go myself, but you know what they say - "See Venice once and die" - and I reckon I've chanced my hand enough for a while! EASTER is coming…….

Spending a lot of my time in making up dishes which conform to my supposed Diabetic and Cardiac state, these things are not allowed so I have come back to things forgotten, like that which we call the "pulses" (dried peas, lentils, dried white beans etc, and cereal products.
By gum, did I enjoy myself this lunchtime, with an old fashioned "pork and lentil" dish!
Great stuff, and now the gases are flowing freely!

I'm avoiding elevators, lifts, trains and all other confined spaces for a while!
Tomorrow will be a variation with dried white haricot beans - I wonder what that will give!!
I also decided that if the Italians could do so well with their cheap pizza pastry, how come we couldn't do something similar with our expensive puff pastry?
So happened I saw a thing on the Spanish TV, which gave a sort of square pizza style thing, made out of puff pastry left-overs, so I tried it, and covered it with a tomato sauce with pimentos, red peppers, onions, olives, anchovy filets, bits of left-over tuna fish and ham etc., I reckon I've come up with a superb rival for the pizza.
Anybody out there got the necessary 20 - 50 million necessary for the restaurant outlets? If your name is McDonald, forget it!

Oh those English.....

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/scotland/scottish-politics/10634941/Three-main-political-parties-unite-to-deny-a-separate-Scotland-the-pound.html......

The three-party plan prompted claims from Scotland’s Deputy First Minister that the British Government was trying to “bully” Scotland into voting against independence in September’s referendum.
Nicola Sturgeon said: “This is a panic move which will backfire spectacularly.
“People won’t take kindly to the Westminster establishment ganging up to try to bully Scotland in the decision that we are being asked to take on the referendum.”
We Scots are a proud people....English politicians want an antler in their best part?

So - according to the English politicians, if Scotland votes for Independance, they will not be able to keep the pound sterling........2 points to be noted:
a) They wouldn't need or want to, they would have the euro...
b) Very Democratic goings on from the English idiots, just showing how scared they are at this possible scenario!
There is a further point- for over 70 years, the Scottish version of the GBP has existed,  at various times not even being respected in England, being accepted, but at under value, I recall such incidents, personally. Seems to me it says 'Sterling' or doesn't it?
Does the Australian/N.Zealand pound exist? The Canadian $$....etc, etc ... Get out of mixing your English ideas in Scottish politics and opinions.
Thank you England!
