For Goddesses - edited & reviewed...4th attempt!
Oh Yes, Yes, please! Oh OUI, OUI si vous plait! Oh Ja JA bitte, bitte!
I've tried editing this thing 4 times now! If it is still "doubling" and not presenting itself properly - I can't do NUFFINK MORE.....!
2 cups Vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup Whole milk
1 tbs Creme de menthe
1 tbs Creme de cacao
In a blender, combine ice cream, milk, creme de menthe and creme de cacao. Blend on low until thick but smooth.
You denied yourself ice cream all summer long. There were burgers, sure, and certainly booze, but you staved off the milkshake craving all the way to August, and now it's time to give in. The good news is that you can make up for your missed opportunities by taking your indulgence to the next level -- all it takes is a quick infusion of vodka. Or Bailey's. Or creme de menthe.
Turning a milkshake into a cocktail doesn't take much; classic recipes ranging from the Grasshopper (which was reminiscent of mint chocolate chip ice cream, anyway) to the White Russian are perfect ways to age up a gallon of creamy vanilla. Want someone else to work the blender? Check out our list of the best spots in the nation to get a spiked shake.
Among house cocktails like the "Release the Kraken" (Kraken rum, Lime, Ginger beer), you'll find three "boozy shakes," including an espresso-powder-laced white russian.
This cozy New American joint goes so far as to have a shaketender who will pull an ice cream-based grasshopper, tequila sunrise, or a Bailey's caramel macchiato for you.
New York & Las Vegas
Signature shakes include Grandma's Treat (vanilla ice cream + Maker's Mark and caramel), and the Night Rider, a blend of Kahlua, chocolate liqueur, Oreo cookies and chocolate ice cream.
Los Angeles, CA
To snag a milkshake at BLD, you'll have to mark your calendar; Maria's Milkshake Madness happens on the last Sunday of every month at 5 P.M. Why should you bother? Two words: Milkshake. Flights.
Head to Bourbon Steak but stay in the lounge, where you'll find a burger menu, and an option for the Bourbon Malted, a mixture of Jim Beam and salty caramel.
Start with an ostrich burger. Finish with the Amaretto-Oreo shake, or a thick, sticky mix of bananas and Bailey's.
